History
Sphynx is a hairless cat that originated due to natural mutation. In 1966 a domestic cat gave birth to a hairless kitten in Toronto, Canada and thus Sphynx came into existence. Cat breeders in Europe and North America have bred the Sphynx to normal coated cats and then back to hairless to create a genetically sound cat with a large gene pool and hybrid vigor.

Appearance
Sphynxs are medium-sized cats with broad chest. They are hard, muscular, and have medium bone density. They have well-rounded abdomen, which gives the Appearance of having eaten a large meal. They have an open-eyed, intelligent face with a friendly expression. The Sphynx is not always totally hairless; there can be a fine down on the body, which makes the cat feel like a warm peach.

Personality
Sphynx combines the Personality traits of monkey, dog, child and cat. They are very lively in nature. They are very devoted and loyal to their humans. They demand unconditional attention and are very mischievous. The Sphynx are extremely inquisitive and love to be the center of attention.
